LaSalle St. Securities, LLC is an Independent Broker Dealer based in Elmhurst, IL and proudly supports a growing network of over 300 independent financial advisors located throughout the country. The Business Development/Relationship Associate reports to and works closely with the SVP of Business Development, to proactively market and solicit new business to the firm as well as acts as a primary relationship contact with the firm’s existing reps and advisors in assisting them with various initiatives within their practices.
Primary Responsibilities/ Duties
Works as a high touch contact with the firm’s current financial advisors working proactively with them on best practices, technology initiatives, issue resolution, as well as maintaining high satisfaction scores. Generates new rep recruiting leads through proactive outbound solicitation calls. Maintains working industry knowledge of key industry topics, continuing education for FINRA licenses, competing firms, outside platforms, internal programs, and product lines available through LaSalle St. Participates as needed in firm’s conferences and events and effectively interfaces with reps and advisors for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing relationships. Keeps current on industry technology solutions and acts as the primary relationship contact for LaSalle St.’s third party vendor partners. Oversees the new rep/advisor onboarding processes to insure seamless transition to the firm. Maintains all call details, notes, next steps into firm’s CRM system. Partners with other LaSalle St. management and staff. Develops and maintains a full understanding of LaSalle St. business model. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university; or 3 to 5 years or more of financial services experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Experience: The following experience and skills are required:
- Knowledge of broker/dealers, Registered Investment Advisors (RIA’s) or financial services
- Prior Recruiting or Relationship Management experience is ideal
- Must possess FINRA Series 7 & 63 or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of employment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Familiar with various third party technology solutions commonly used in the Independent Broker Dealer marketplace
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high level of energy
- Ability to personally interact with internal and external customers, executive management
- Industry partners and resources
